California’s HAYDEN’S ACT in jeopardy! Gov. Jerry Brown trying to kill it… therefore kill the shelter pets!
April 12, 2012 in Animal Rights, General Stuff!
UPDATE!!!! Both the House and the Senate have rejected Gov. Brown's plan to dismiss the Hayden's Act!!! As of April 11th, it is safe! Unfortunately, Brown is allowed to redo his budget plans and bring them across both parties again, expected in May. No more 72 hour hold! This County shelter has decided to power up and make its own decisions on what breed of dog is worth adoption and life, and disregard the lives of all other living beings! They have always been a ROCK to our community, and unfortunately with all of the terrible circumstances haunting them, they'll be moving on to other states. BSL is comin' strong to our part of the woods!
Stay strong, Tia and Villalobos
