HOPE….. a heartbreaking story… RIP, sweet Hope. You didn’t deserve this…

Hope died today.  She was loved by those helping her…. but her body couldn’t handle the severe abuse received by her now MURDERER Monterion Dionte Davis. The 19-year-old admitted to wrapping a chord around Hope’s neck, tying her to a tree, and leaving her to die. Her throat was severed by the time she arrived at the pound, and, although in this video there were positive thoughts for her recovery, she was just too injured to pull through.

Rest in peace, little Hope…. I’m so sorry we weren’t able to make your life better on earth.

Puppy Mills may become banned in L.A. if Councilman gets his way! YEAH!

On Friday, May 6th, 2011, an L.A. City Council member became a hero to some of us!  His name is Paul Koretz.  He has presented a proposal for banning pet shops for selling live animals from puppy mills, kitten mills, or large commercial breeders.  

 

We all know there are cute puppies in pet shops…. but not everyone knows the abusive background they may be coming from.  It doesn’t matter how much advocates voice their disgust on these operations, pet shops have been able to support these abusers and sell puppy mill dogs!  If this information was brought to the public’s attention more often, via newspaper, television, etc., maybe the public would get a clue.  But for now, pet shops make big money on “green” dogs coming from horrendous situations.  A closed eye never sees the pain, I guess.

 

Paul Koretz’s proposal will span over the city.  If the legislation passes, Los Angeles will be the second largest city that joins others with similar bans.  Let’s hold our breath that others may follow suit!

10. They will steal your spot on the couch while your up getting something to drink.

9. They will take the treat you just gave them and bury it in the backyard like a paranoid crackhead hiding their stash.

8. They will jump up on the bed with muddy feet.

7. They will lick visitors with uncontrolled passion only they understand.

6. They will cause children to smile.

5. They will make you feel horrible for not walking them by looking at you with saddened eyes.

4. They will look at you like you just comitted a crime if you don’t let them lick your ice cream bowl.

3. They will cause wide-spread happiness in large group settings.

2. They will crack you up by shaking their butts so hard you think they’re going to snap in half.

And the number one reason why you can’t trust VICIOUS PIT BULLS.. !. They will steal your heart like a thief in the night, showing you complete, and unconditional love that only a PIT BULL can show.

Babies and Puppies are the purest forms of love on our planet. They are not born bad or evil. It’s how you raise them!
