Everybody needs friends! And here you can pick and choose 
You may request a friendship from any of our members. Once accepted, that friend will be put in your “My Friends” pile. You will be able to choose to watch their activity only, or private message them if you wish. You’ll be able to invite them to groups if you wish.
REQUEST A FRIENDSHIP:
You may find another member online who you’d like to be friends with, or you may look through the MEMBERS list to see people who interest you and want to add some as friends. If you click MEMBERS, you will see on the right-hand side buttons that say “ADD FRIEND”. You may push that button next to the person you’re interested in befriending.
That person will get a “NOTIFICATION” up on their top dashboard bar. During the time the request is in, you will see the button on membership turn to “FRIENDSHIP REQUESTED”. Once the other member has accepted the friendship, the button will turn into “CANCEL FRIENDSHIP”. You won’t want to hit that unless you’re angry with the person! 
FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS! —
Once you are friends with a person, you will be able to receive their “activity” on your profile page! You will be able to “favorite” their posts if you wish, as well as “mention” them in other posts. Wow… this could be the beginning of a great relationship!
Any time you want to see your friends or see if you have any requests, go into “PROFILE” which you can get to from the top dashboard, or by clicking on your own avatar or name anywhere on the site. Click on FRIENDS. You’ll have your list as well as a button that says “requests”. Now, go make some friends!
